“Young Nuclearist Scholarship”, edition 2023-2024

 

Bucharest, 2 October 2023

Nuclearelectrica is launching the “Young Nuclearist Scholarship” student scholarship program, edition 2023-2024, through which it grants scholarships to students in their intermediate and final years, enrolled in the bachelor and master programs at accredited universities in Romania. The amount of the scholarship is 3.000 lei gross/month. Students can apply from 02.10.2023 – 31.10.2023, on the Nuclearelectrica website – SNN Scholarships – Nuclearelectrica: Burse SNN – Nuclearelectrica.

The student scholarship program “Young Nuclearist Scholarship” is part of the “Nucleus of Excellence” platform, Nuclearelectrica’s employer brand. The platform is aimed at developing a new generation of professionals in the nuclear field and at capitalizing on the potential of young people in Romania, who have the chance to contribute to the implementation of the company’s strategic projects – the Refurbishment of Cernavoda NPP Unit 1, the Construction Project for Units 3 and 4 of Cernavoda NPP, the Small Modular Reactors Project, a unique chance of development for any young person.

Nuclearelectrica’s strategy to train a new generation of specialists includes internship programs, scholarships, dual education. Career development within the Nuclearelectrica team involves training programs, internships abroad for exchange of experience, mentoring and succession planning to achieve professional performance at the highest level.

The scholarships are aimed at students in STEM, economics, law and other specializations, ambitious and motivated students pursuing a career in a top field in Romania.
