SN Nuclearelectrica SA announces that Cernavoda NPP Unit 2 was reconnected to the National Energy System in the afternoon of October 16th, 2021.
We remind you that Cernavoda NPP Unit 2 was automatically disconnected from the National Energy System in the morning of October 14th, 2021 following the triggering of the switchers delivering energy into the National Energy System.
The automatic disconnection of Unit 2 and remediation works had no impact on the nuclear safety of the reactor, personnel, population and environment, being unfolded in compliance with the applicable procedures in such situations.
