The certificates for operation and maintenance as well as the certification for the quality management systems are issued by the National Regulatory Body (CNCAN), in accordance with the authorization strategy established during the meeting between Cernavoda NPP and CNCAN on January 14th 2010.

The authorizations were handed to the management of SNN SA by the President of CNCAN, Mrs. Vajda Borbala.
The ceremony took place in the presence of the State Secretary from the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business Environment, Mr. Tudor Serban with the participation of the representatives of SN Nuclearelectrica SA, CNCAN and the Nuclear Radioactive Waste Agency.
