Mr. Andrei Musetoiu is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanics of Transilvania University of Brasov, Fine Mechanics Department and of the Master programs in Business Management and Materials and Nuclear Technologies of Pitesti University.

He has 18 years of experience in FCN Pitesti, occupying several strategic roles and being involved during his career in most of the basic processes in the nuclear fuel production and control flow.

Since 2017 he has successfully coordinated the work of the Technical Directorate in a period of multiple challenges mainly generated by the massive generation change faced by the Nuclear Fuel Plant, focusing on maintaining standards of excellence in terms of nuclear safety culture within the organization and the quality of the final product delivered to CNE Cernavoda.

Mr. Andrei Musetoiu has a major contribution to the development of strategies for the optimization of individual technological processes and the technological flow as a whole, the development of quality and environmental policy and the establishment of Integrated Management System objectives. Also, in his career at FCN Pitesti, Mr Musetoiu has coordinated the Assembling, Pallets, Engineering and Maintenance and Utilities departments.

He played an important role in the integration process of many of the plant’s new employees, thus contributing to the training and development of a new generation of specialists and leaders in the field of nuclear fuel production.

He also contributed to the company’s efforts to maintain the integrated nuclear fuel cycle in Romania by being involved in the activities of the takeover by SNN of the technical uranium concentrates processing line at CNU Feldioara and the purchase of technical uranium concentrates from the international market.
