Mr. Remus Vulpescu is a graduate of the University of Bucharest, Faculties of Law and Political and Administrative Sciences. After a 15-year legal career as a business lawyer and insolvency practitioner, over the last 10 years he has dedicated himself to the recovery and restructuring management of large State-owned or private companies, being also an Executive MBA graduate of Tiffin University USA and the University of Bucharest. He also occupied positions in the academic environment and public administration. He is a member of some professional associations in the field of capital market.

Other State-owned companies for which he worked are Hidroelectrica, Transelectrica, Transgaz, Cupru Min, Romaero.

He currently works as CEO and Special Administrator at Armax Gaz SA, with 100% private capital.

The experience in organizational transformation of some Romanian companies, as well as the training in the legal field recommends Mr. Vulpescu as an important contributor in achieving the goals of SNN. At the same time, the extended career in the energy field, in top management positions of some strategic companies at national level allowed Mr. Vulpescu to accumulate knowledge and expertise in corporate governance, business development strategies, market and energy policies, necessary elements in formulating strategies and the development of the investment projects of SNN. Mr Vulpescu’s contribution is also valuable from the perspective of the expertise in legal matters, legislative harmonization and the efficient organization of the activity.
