Societatea Nationala Nuclearelectrica SA announces the completion of the planned shutdown of Cernavoda NPP Unit 1 and the synchronization with the National Power Grid, which took place on Sunday, 8.06.2014.
Unit 1 entered the planned shutdown on May 9th, 2014, in order to perform maintenance works, established once every two years for each unit.
The works were executed under terms of safety for the personnel of the power plant, the population and the environment, in compliance with the procedures of the power plant.
