According to the process of recruiting the candidates-members of the Board of Directors of Societatea Nationala Nuclearelectrica SA, initiated by the Ministry of the Economy through the Office for State Ownership and Privatization in Industry (O.P.S.P.I.), within the Meeting of the General Assembly of the Shareholders of Societatea Nationala Nuclearelectrica SA, that took place on 25 April 2013, the members of the company’s Board of Directors were appointed, in compliance with the stipulations of the Government Emergency Ordinance No.109/2011 referring to the corporate governance of public enterprises.

On the recommendation of the Nomination Committee, the newly assigned Board of Directors of Nuclearelectrica SA appointed, by unanimous vote, Mrs. Daniela Lulache as Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director of SN Nuclearelectrica SA, according to Decision No. 8 of April 30, 2013.

The mandate of Chief Executive Officer shall enter into force on the date of 15 May 2013, after the registration formalities with the Trade Register Office attached to Bucharest Law Court will have been completed.

Mrs. Daniela Lulache is an economist by profession, a graduate from the Academy of Economic Studies, who attended numerous specialty courses, a person with wide experience in financial management, having held management positions requiring high responsibilities, complex competences and skills, and involving challenging tasks in both private sector and  state owned companies.

Mr. Ionel Bucur was also confirmed as Manager of the Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant, thus, becoming the second Executive Director of SN Nuclearelectrica SA.

The entire process of recruiting the candidates-members for the Board of Directors  was carried out with the assistance of the Quest Advisors, a consultancy firm selected beforehand by O.P.S.P.I..
