SN Nuclearelectrica announces the decrease by 40% of the Cernavoda NPP’s Unit 1 full power so that some tests could be performed on the water supply pumps of the secondary circuit (conventional part of the nuclear power plant).

It is estimated that Unit 1 will reach full power today.

This action does not affect the reactor nuclear safety, or the protection of the operational staff, population  and environment.
