SN Nuclearelectrica SA announces that Cernavoda NPP Unit 2 will be synchronized with the National Power Grid on the 4th of March, 2010, after the performance of the restart and testing maneuvers. 
The specialists of the  power plant inform that they have identified the causes of the malfunction which determined the loss of primary agent in the reactor building and the shutdown of the plant and have also established the correction solutions.
The malfunction is under remedial, through the replacement of a portion of the cracked pipe. The malfunction didn’t cause a nuclear incident, as there were no radioactive emissions to the environment and no contamination for the operative personnel.
